2 weeks to go
With a little over 2 weeks until we open, it may look like we still have a long way to go but we are on track and set to open on Friday 6th November as planned!
Please accept our apologies in advance for any traffic disturbance; in this last stage of the refurbishment there are a large number of contractors on site in order to get the job finished on time.
In this final big push we are completing the tarmacking and marking of the car park, tiling the bar, and doing lots of painting and decorating.
The all important beer lines have just gone in and a new cellar cooling system is being installed before the weekend so keep all our lovely beer at the perfect temperature for you.
The tech team are also on-site installing the wi-fi caballing and ensuring the IT side of things runs smoothly and efficiently; from order-point to payment.
It’s not all been about the building itself; we have also been busy recruiting the final members to join our team and undergoing extensive staff training. The new team enjoyed a night out earlier this week brushing up on their bowling skills and getting to know some of the team’s from The Royal Exchange’s sister pubs in Hampshire and Surrey too.
Finally, following feedback from our locals, we are just finalising our menus which should be ready early next week as will our drinks lists and allergen information.
