Hampshire’s local food scene is buzzing with talented people working hard to create delicious produce and creative crafts.
The Hampshire Fare Food Festival provides a centre stage for farmers, producers and suppliers alike who are passionate in what they do and this festival is a showcase to promote the fruits of their labour.
Due to such overwhelming popularity, the Hampshire Fare Food Festival, now in its 17th year, has grown from a weekend event to a month-long line up throughout July, offering over 75 terrific food and drink events across the county. There is something for every type of food lover and a great opportunity to uncover some new favourites! Events include visiting the Lavender Fields Open Day in Selbourne, enjoying a Tour & Tasting of Gorilla Spirits in Four Marks to the Smoked and Uncut Food & Music festival at The Pig in Brockenhurst…take a look at the full schedule of events so you don’t miss out!
Here at The Exchequer, we are dedicated to sourcing from local farmers and producers and only ever use sustainable ingredients and therefore it is only to be expected that we are such a positive ambassador for, and a member of, Hampshire Fare.
To mark this exciting annual festival, Chef has created a delicious pie to feature in the 12 Tempting Pie & Pints promotion, using local supplier Ambrose sausages very own chorizo, based in Upham Hampshire.
