A wonderful evening of fantastic Hampshire food and drink

Last week we attended the 2016 Hampshire Life Food & Drink Awards at The Elvetham Hotel, where, under a twinkling black canopy, we sat among the finest food and drink producers this wonderful county has to offer.

We were there celebrating our nomination into the final 3 for the ‘Newcomer of the Year‘ category, as voted for by you, our customers!

We were delighted to have been nominated, and despite not being awarded the prize on the night, it has not taken away our pride to have been supported by our local community in this way, so thank you to everyone who voted, and who has supported us along our journey.

This wonderful festivity, surrounded by some of our fellow foodies, came in a month already full of celebration, as we marked our 1st birthday!

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we opened our doors after an £850,000 refurbishment, transforming this unloved pub back into a valuable part of the community, which we couldn’t have done, without your help.

It’s been an incredible year, where we have come to know many of you well, helped build the local business community with the launch of the Bordon Business Exchange and committed to raising £10,000 for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
