Yes Please to Ice Cream!

Looking for an excuse to satisfy your ice cream cravings now summer is on its way? Look no further, we have the answer! Our locally produced Meadow Farmhouse Ice Cream is deliciously creamy and comes in a variety of flavours, guaranteed to put a smile on your face on a hot summers day.

Meadow Cottage Farmhouse Ice Cream, also known as Blackburn & Haynes, is an award winning farm business, situated between the villages of Churt and Headley. This family run farm is well known in the community for its unpasteurised double cream, whole milk and farmhouse ice cream produced by the pedigree Jersey cows, as well as its amazing fruit sorbets and sucrose-free ice-cream – something for everyone!

The Haynes family’s passion for what they produce is the driving force behind the farms role within the local rural community. Having begun work on the farm in 1984, Peter and Celia Haynes have created an outstanding business together. Working alongside their parents, their son Mark and daughter Julie also help to feed the cattle and create the delicious, quality ice cream.

Made in Hampshire

We have a variety of Meadow Cottage Farmhouse Ice Cream flavours available for you to taste at the Royal Exchange, including vanilla, honeycomb, chocolate strawberry, mint chocolate chip, and apricot and mango – Yum! And, if you fancy something a little more refreshing and vibrant, there are also four wonderful sorbets to try; peach, raspberry, elderflower and lemon.

Our sweet-toothed waitress Annie let us know her favourite flavour of ice-cream off of the menu:

“I love the mint chocolate chip flavour the most because it has just the right amount of empowering mint flavour to compliment the chocolate and it’s just so smooth and creamy”

perfect spring dessert
