"We went to The Royal Exchange for lunch and had a truly lovely time. The service was fantastic – our server was incredibly patient, didn’t need to write anything down, and remembered everything perfectly, even with a group of six.

They were also very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious across the board, but the lamb in particular was fabulous – perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The three desserts we shared were equally impressive. Drinks were very nice as well, with a solid selection and reasonable prices.

For mains, drinks, and desserts, it came to around £26 per person, which we felt was excellent value for the quality and service. The atmosphere was relaxed, with music playing at a comfortable volume that didn’t get in the way of conversation.
